Why this matters now
5×
AI-referred traffic year-over-year, per Andreessen Horowitz Q4 2025.[1] The shift is happening now — founders who act this quarter own the citations.
4×
AI-referred traffic converts at roughly 4× the rate of organic search.[2] Visitors arrive pre-qualified — they already asked the LLM, read the answer, clicked through.
3×
Brand mentions correlate ~3× more strongly with AI visibility than backlinks.[3] Getting cited is a different skill from SEO — and a far more tractable one for a small team.
How it feels
Watch citation targets stream in, scored in real time.
Citegrove fires buyer-intent queries at three LLMs simultaneously. Every URL they cite gets harvested, classified by source type, and ranked by actionability — automatically. You see the table fill in, then pick up the drafts.
- Queries across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini
- Score 0–100 — higher = easier to get added
- Top 5 targets ready in under 3 minutes

Discovery
Every URL the LLMs cite, ranked.
We fire buyer-intent queries at ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. Every cited URL gets harvested, deduped, and scored for actionability.
Hey, wanted to add — we've been using linear.app for sprint planning and the keyboard shortcuts alone are worth…
Drafts
Ready-to-send copy, channel-specific.
Reddit gets a comment. A listicle gets a pitch email. G2 gets a claim checklist. Each draft is conditioned on your brand context and the target page's actual content.
Tracking
Four states. One-click transitions.
Mark rows Sent when you've submitted. Won when the edit lands. The dashboard shows your win rate over time — no spreadsheet required.
Weekly diff
Monday digest, automatically.
Every Monday at 8am UTC you get a diff: new targets, dropped URLs, citation wins since last week. The table tells you if your effort moved the needle.

Founders using citegrove
Early results from the beta.
"I spent 45 minutes on Monday using citegrove — posted two Reddit comments, submitted to one listicle. By Thursday, ChatGPT mentioned us in two separate category queries I tested. That's never happened from SEO."
Sarah Chen — Founder, indie-saas.dev
"The drafts are the unlock. I'd been meaning to do this kind of outreach for months but the blank-page problem killed it every time. citegrove gives me something I can edit in 5 minutes instead of staring at nothing."
Marcus Webb — Solo dev, retain.app
"I was skeptical of the score system but it's genuinely predictive. The Reddit threads do get accepted more than the Wikipedia edits. The scoring matches what I'd have guessed after doing this manually for a year."
Priya Sharma — Co-founder, sift.io
FAQ
Questions founders ask before signing up.
Why not just do SEO?
SEO takes months and targets Google. AI citation is a different distribution channel — it's faster to move and it converts better. If you're already doing SEO, citegrove is complementary: the pages LLMs cite are often the same high-DA pages you'd want links from anyway. But the workflow is different. You're not publishing content on your own domain — you're getting included on pages that already exist and already rank in LLMs.
How is this different from Otterly?
Otterly tells you your AI citation score. citegrove tells you which 5 URLs to go work on this week and gives you the draft to paste. The deliverable is action, not a number. If you want a score dashboard to report up to a team, Otterly does that well. If you want to actually move the needle as a one- or two-person team, use citegrove.
Do I need my own API keys for OpenAI, Perplexity, or Gemini?
No. All three LLMs run on our infrastructure — the cost is baked into the $99/mo price. You don't need an account with any of them. You just need a domain and something worth getting cited for.
What if my product is in a niche LLMs don't know about?
That's actually where citegrove is most valuable. If LLMs don't know your category well, the citation pages are thin and there are fewer competitors fighting for those placements. The free scan will show you exactly which pages exist — and the actionability scores tend to be higher in niche categories.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from the Stripe Customer Portal — one click, no email required. Cancellation is effective at the end of the billing period, so you keep access until then. Your scan history and drafts are retained for 30 days after cancellation.
How often does citegrove scan my brand?
Automatically every Monday at 8am UTC. You'll get an email digest with new targets and citation wins since the prior scan. You can also trigger up to 4 on-demand scans per month from the dashboard.
Run the scan. See what ChatGPT cites for your category.
No account required. No card. You'll see the table of citation targets in under 3 minutes — then decide if you want the drafts.
